Camp Focus / Adventure Teams
This year we’re dividing camp into adventure teams. You’ll get to take more time doing what you love. For each week there are SIX choices. You will be in only one of them. You’ll spend time doing your favorite things all morning with others who love the same things—this may include an off-camp trip, a creative project, and definitely exciting recreation. You and your adventure team get to plan your week together.

Aquatic Adventures
This focus is for anyone who loves the water and wants to learn to ski or wake-board better. You’ll get a lot of time in the boat, important instruction on water safety, and even learn a bit about lake ecology and do a creative project with an aquatic theme.

Horse Madness
In this focus you’ll learn all about horses. More riding time, more time with the horses. You’ll also have a creative activity that’s specifically related to the wonderful world of horses.

Into the Wild
If you love the wild outdoors you’re in for a great time with this focus. You’ll learn about wilderness survival; go in search of fascinating plants and wildlife; even camp out overnight. This will be a fun, adventurous class in the wild UP.

Rocks and Rivers
Wish you could spend more time learning climbing, rescue or river-travel skills? This class will be full of challenging outdoor adventure activities, like river travel, climbing and rope safety.

Wild Art
If you’re wild about art—photography, sculpture, painting or drawing—this is the class for you. You’ll take time to work on different art projects, learn to be a better artist and discover God’s art in nature through exciting outdoor activities.

The Wild Kingdom
This is for those who love wild animals. You’ll spend time in mini expeditions seeing what creatures you can discover in the natural world. You’ll learn about them and record what you’re discovering with paper and camera.

Don’t worry—
when lunch has come the fun is only half over. The afternoon will be your chance to do the stuff you didn’t get to do in the morning. You’ll have the chance to choose from all kinds of other camp activities, such as tubing, horses, archery, soccer, tie die t-shirts, rockets—or continue working on what you started in the morning.

Finally,
we’ll still have our fun evening activities and programs. I think these will be our best camps yet!
