Our Mission

The Literature Ministries/Publishing Department exists to proclaim the gospel of hope to the whole world in this generation with publications and other forms of media given through personal contacts.

Student Literature Evangelism

Each summer, young people from Michigan and many other parts of the United States dedicate their summers to share Christ door-to-door through truth-filled magabook literature in the state of Michigan. This program offers them the opportunity to minister to people while earning a scholarship to help cover their school expenses. The program is open to committed young people 16 years old and older.

GLOW Literature Evangelism

Giving Light to Our World (GLOW) is a program that makes it easy for every church member to give the final warning through free literature. Our sharing tools include, GLOW tracts and sharing books.

Literature Ministries

David Pano is the director of Literature Ministries for the Michigan Conference. Born in Peru, but raised in Bolivia, his desire was to see the world. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Costa Rica as a System Engineer (2004), he found himself teaching Computer Science in Honduras (2005). In 2006, God brought him to the United States, where he worked in various health insurance companies. During this time, God was working on David’s heart and leading him to trust in Him with his future. In 2011, the door was opened for him to attend Ouachita Hills College in Arkansas, where he received his second Bachelor’s degree, but this time in Theology. Since his graduation in 2015, David has found himself fulfilling his passion to see the world, but now in service for the Master. He has preached in Bolivia, California, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, Panama and Peru.

Seth Roberts is the assistant director of Literature Ministries, and has led Youth Rush programs for the Michigan Conference since 2019, when he was a student at SOULS West, the Pacific Union's leadership training school. Prior to joining Michigan's Literature Ministries department, Seth served as a Publishing Department intern in the Middle East North Africa Union, where he assisted in establishing the first ongoing magabook programs in that region. His involvement in the Literature ministry began in his homeland of Australia, where he organized and led a number of the first successful magabook programs in the South Pacific Division.

We are fast approaching the end. The printing and circulation of the books and papers that contain the truth for this time are to be our work."
