Throughout the day, nearly 300 gift bags were shared with attendees. Each bag included The Great Controversy, Steps to Christ, Balance magazine, a health pamphlet, Bible study information, and several GLOW tracts.
Pathfinders and church members also walked the grounds offering cold water, juice boxes, and snacks. Those simple gestures often opened the door for conversations and made people more willing to accept the literature. The effort was a true team project, with an early morning setup crew at 8 a.m., volunteers preparing a potluck for the first shift, and others supplying coolers to keep refreshments ready for distribution.
“It was such a blessing being there with our UChurch family,” said Laura Im, personal ministries director. “We hope and pray these books reach the exact people who need them.” The event not only connected the church with the community but also strengthened fellowship as members worked side by side in mission.
